These days, we have been completely fish taco obsessed. They’re easy to make, healthy, and just so freaking delicious.
The trick to make them delicious is supple corn tortillas, crunchy purple cabbage, lots of avocado and a bit of hot sauce here and there. Another trick is margaritas. It just needed. Don’t ask questions 😉
You can use any white fish but for these fish tacos we used Alaskan pollock burgers that we got from Costco on sale. Win, win.
Here’s what we used to make our fish tacos. However, these can really be customized to what you like and prefer!
- Corn Tortillas warmed up
- Lime Wedges
- Cilantro leaves
- Purple Cabbage chopped up
- White cheese
- Feta cheese
- Sour cream
- Hot sauce
For the Seafood:
- White fish of your choice
- Pineapple and Chipotle sauce
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Lime juice
We had chips and salsa as a little starter as we prepped all the ingredients for our tacos. With a fun playlist in the background we had a lot of fun chopping and cooking everything that is needed.
I love how all the ingredients are all so colorful and happy!
Warmed up corn tortillas.
Crunchy purple cabbage and lettuce.
Lots of shredded white cheese. Hot salsa.
White fish, spiced and cut up.
Pineapple, chipotle and cilantro shrimp.
Once all of the ingredients are laid out on the table- it’s time to make your tacos!
As you can see I love avocado, cheese, and cabbage on my tacos! It just makes your plate so colorful and fun and really is a delicious combination of flavors and textures.
Carson likes his tacos not as colorful as he prefers cheese and lots of hot sauce! I love how everyone’s tacos can look very different depending on what you like.
If you’re ever looking for a fun night in, I would highly suggest a taco night! With fun music, good drinks and amazing tacos- you can’t go wrong.
Until next time!
