Our big move across country began on a late Thursday night when we decided to forgo sleep and spontaneously drive to Alberta during the night. This way we were able to see the sunrise during our drive and were able to spend lots of time the next day exploring the mountains and lakes. Read more
On this rainy, dreary Wednesday we decided to get out of the house and go to Granville Island and walk around. Despite the weather, we had fun wandering around the Island and market.
As my favorite season is Fall, I knew I had to go to a Pumpkin Patch this year. We decided to go to a cute family owned farm called Taves Farm in Abbotsford. They’re known for their abundance of pumpkins, apple picking, corn maze, petting zoo, and more. Read more
Recently, we went on a road trip to Calgary, Alberta. On our trip we hit the main tourist attractions- Lake Louise and Morine Lake, which are both beautiful spots to stop at. Since May has a long weekend, we decided we would make the most of it and go on a road trip to Oregon. It has been on my bucket list for ages to see the Oregon coast and quirky Portland, so we decided that this would be the perfect weekend to go!

Last weekend we went to Whistler with a group of our friends. Whistler is one of my favorite places to visit! I love the breathtaking scenery and the vibe of the people in Whistler. It has a laid back atmosphere especially since the majority of people there are tourists there to ski or snowboard. While I don’t do either, I still certainly appreciate the place.
The drive alone is a highlight. The Sea to Sky highway is windy and overlooks the mountains, water and forest. From our place in New Westminster it takes almost two hours to get there. So it makes for a perfect little road trip! There are also gorgeous stops you can make like the one we did at Shannon Falls. Read more
